What sets One Body Fitness apart?
I have designed this site so that if you are on day one of an expedition to a healthier lifestyle, you can see where you need to begin. I hope that by sharing my personal experiences and developing knowledge you can learn the fundamentals to making healthier decisions and becoming fit!
Overhauling your life in pursuit of health is not easy for anyone, and for someone struggling with emotional dependancies on food or substance, the fear of change can be absolutely paralyzing. Much of the information and photos circulating out there can make you feel intimidated, overwhelmed, and literally ready to quit before you ever begin.
What sets me apart as a trainer and as a coach is that I understand the painful reality of being overweight. I had an unhealthy relationship with food - it was my coping strategy for all of the trauma and pain in my life and a direct reflection of how broken I truly was. But... I learned how to change - how to disengage from the behaviors that were harming me and get my body, and my life, back in control. So I know what it takes to overcome this fight - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
